Days ago it was reported to the media that Blerim Shala and Veton Surroi were invited by Prime Minister Albin Kurti to be part of the negotiating team with Serbia, It says Periscope.
But this team, according to Periscop sources, will also join Bernard Nikaj, former Kosovo ambassador to Brussels. Also, sources say Mrs. Edita Tahiri will be part of Kurt's team, but that information is not confirmed.
We remember that Vetevendosje had been campaigning aggressive political for years against Tahiri, until she led the Kosovo team into technical dialogue.
Periscope has asked Mr. Blerim Shala about the matter yesterday, and the same one has not denied or claimed, but briefly told Periscope that there is no answer.
Veton Surroi is well-known journalist and publicist who in the past had his own political party [ ORA] but with which it had shown no great success. He has been part of previous negotiating teams that were considered very harmful by Kurti and his militants.
Blerim Shala There is another renowned analyst and publicist but opposed by Vetevendosje. He has been part of some political parties like the AAK, and ultimately the PDK. Mr. Shala has been part of former President Hashim Thaci's negotiating team. Shala was named by former President Atifete Jahjaga in this position.
Bernard Nikaj, has been Kosovo's ambassador to Brussels. Mr. Nikaj has been former Minister of Trade and Industry from the ranks of Behgjet Pacolli's party, AKR.
Edita Tahiri, It is one of the most prominent negotiators in dialogue with Serbia. She is known for starting a dialogue known as technical dialogue, where she faced Serbia's Borislav Stefanovic in Brussels. Mrs. Tahiri has also been Minister for Dialogue in the government of Isa Mustaf.
We remember that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is in Brussels to discuss dialogue with Serbia. The prime minister has not provided any information before his departure to Brussels, despite the journalists' insistence on what he will discuss with European diplomats and perhaps even with Alexander Vucinqi.
The prime minister's party, Vetevendosje, is constantly calling for the unity of the political scene in Kosovo, though in the past it was the main force that could not achieve political unity.
Although Prime Minister Kurti had declared that the dialogue dispute with Serbia is not the first priority of second é, his visit to Brussels has restored the debate with Serbia as the top priority.
German foreign minister's visit, Mr. Heiko Maas confirmed this and even more his controversial statement against the positions of President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti that the dialogue must be revised and then resumed.
Mr. Maas at the conference in front of the Serbian media, said that the dialogue does not need to be revised”, but only to continue”./Periscopi/
