Former Education Minister Besa Sahini has said that Sunday in the parliamentary elections in Albania will go and vote on the Socialist Party.
Sahin wrote on Facebook there was criticism Edi Rama's SP, but which continues to be the best option for Albania.
She writes:
On Sunday, I will go to Tirana to vote on the Socialist Party, the political group I served with for three years in the government of the Republic of Albania. My critics for the SP remain: The SP must and may be better, left hand, fairer. But it also remains that today the SP continues to be Albania's best option.
If I could vote outside my district, I would give my vote to Lindita Nikolla in Lezha, who has pushed the education reform forward with courage and much sacrifice and working for Lezha in parallel, without stopping.
I would have voted for Milva Economy in Durres, which as an MP was totally involved in our efforts to help citizens affected by the earthquake, contributing to its work and expertise.
Or Shirley Denajn, in Vlora, who had a cold head and a passion in the heart, successfully led the tremendous financial challenges we faced when pandemic began immediately after the earthquake that caused more than 1 billion euros in damage.
I would vote on many other women who have shown great stability, determination and love for Albania. Girlfriends, I wish you success on Sunday.
