The Austrian Eurodeput, Lucas Mandl, has written about the 5th anniversary of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union.
Through a Twitter post, he has said this was the first contractual relationship between the EU and the Republic of Kosovo.
He says that in addition, this was a historic moment on Kosovo's road towards EU membership.
In this context, he says visa liberalisation has been delayed and should happen now.
“5 years ago, the Stabilisation and Association Agreement with #Kosovo entered into force. Both the first contractual relationship between the EU and the RKS this was an important historic moment on Kosovo's road towards EU membership. Visa liberalisation is delayed and must now be followed”, he wrote.
