The “in co-ordination with the Founding Prosecutor in Gjilan, IPK investigators have initiated the investigative procedure that has included authorising the use of classified investigation measures.
As a result of the investigative actions, evidence has been provided under which police official allegedly committed the criminal work of “sexual assault” and the same allegedly had sexual relations with the victim of this case (a minor)”, the IPK reports.
Based on these allegations, the police official (who was out of office) has been arrested in the afternoon today, and with the decision of the competent prosecutor of the same has been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
Apart from arrest, as part of the administrative procedure the suspect (police official) has been suspended until the investigation is completed.
The “IPK investigators are expected to take other investigative actions regarding the case in continued consultation with the prosecutor responsible of the Constitutional Prosecutor at Gjilan”, their announcement concludes.
