A few days ago, VV power caused a stir when it called for investigation into journalists at the Insander portal after publishing part of communications with a vaccine company.
This had prompted numerous public reactions, but also a debate over power intervention in journalism.
The US Embassy has made this reaction:
“Dhuna and threats against journalists are attacks on democracy itself. To inform the public and keep government officials responsible, they must have access to public information and should be allowed to do the work without interference from outside”.
