Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that Albania has secured another 145 thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine from the European Union contract with the six countries of the Western Balkan region.
Rama said that out of the 651 thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine that the European Union will share in the region, Albania has managed to secure the second largest dose of 145 thousand vaccines.
“Thank the European Commission, Presidents Von der Leyen, Commissioner Varheley and Ambassador Sorica, who listened to him, recalled and helped Albania, as precious friends of this people”, wrote Rama on his Facebook account.
We remember that by the 19th of this month, eight thousand and 190 doses of Pfizer vaccine have reached Albania, bringing the number of vaccines reached 703 thousand and 550 doses.
