This was made known in the Kosovo Customs announcement, in which the accession ceremony -- reportedly today -- has been held under the handover of the director-general's duty from task manager Bajram Rexha to the new director general Agron Llugaliu, according to the Kosovo Republic Government's decision 07/1017 of the 22/04/2021.
The newly elected director, Agron Llugaliu, has said that the new task is not a privilege but a major responsibility in running customs.
I urge that we reform and modernise the structure and processes of work, with the aim of orientation of the Kosovo Customs to the service of the country's citizens and businesses, in particular for boosting export and favouring foreign investments, through literal rule of law and offering advanced customs services. On the other hand, we will be committed to the avoidance of non-professional practices and fighting the informal economy”, Llugaliu said.
