Half of U.S. adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine against the coronary. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that nearly 130 million people, 18 years old and older, have received at least one dose.
This means 50.4 percent of the population. According to the same source, nearly 84 million adults, or a third of the population, have been fully vaccinated. The two vaccines currently used in the US, Pfizer/ B ONTech and Modernna should be given two doses to be as effective as possible. The third vaccine Johnson&Johnson, which was suspended last week, due to reports that it could cause blood clotting, is given by a single dose.
