One thousand 996 dead from COVID-19 in Kosovo

Corona virus claimed the lives of one thousand 996 citizens in the country.

In the last 24 hours in Kosovo alone, eight cases of death were recorded. Data from the Kosovo National Public Health Institute ( IKPK.

The IKBPK reports that there are currently 13 thousand and 763 active cases with COVID-19.

“over the last 24 hours, at the Medieval Microbiology Laboratory in IKSCK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as private and public labs with the RA method, have tested a total of 3,208 samples taken by SSCKUK and tracking ground-related contacts, resulting in 345 positive cases. Within 24 hours, eight cases of SARS deaths were reported CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Gjilan 3 cases (76, 70, 49), Kamenice 1 case (59), Lipjan 1 case (64), Peja 1 case (77), Pristina 1 case (68), Skenderaj 1 case (80 years). The total number of positive cases is 98,341 cases of 478,625 suspicious persons in the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,996 cases of death. During the last 24 hours, 518 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 82.582 cases, while the number of active cases is 13,763”, says the IKBPK report.

The Pristina municipality again marks the highest number of positive cases with COVID-19.

The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 113 cases, Gjakova 45 cases, Gjilan 37 cases, Mitrovica 30 cases, Ferizaj 18 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 18 cases, Podujevo 16 cases, stage 13 cases, Peja 10 cases, Prizren 10 cases, Lipjan 7 cases, Skenderaj 6 cases, Dragash 4 cases, Kacanica 4 cases, Decani 3 cases, Obilic 2 cases, Rahovec 2 cases, year 2 and one case case of Unnik municipalities, Kacan, Kli, Malishev and Shqi.
