Since 1999, more than 52 million square metres of mined fields have been cleared in Kosovo so far and over 92 thousand explosive devices have been removed. That is how the Demining Company of the National Guard of the Kosovo Security Force has announced.
For 22 years, another 23 thousand and 700 antipersonnel mines, 3,000 and 120 antitank mines, and 22 thousand and 500 casino bombs have been removed. This data was published on the International Day of Awareness of the risk of mines”.
