80 Cardiac patients at Pec Hospital, half in oxygen therapy

Pec General Hospital Director Skender Dresey said the situation with patients in this hospital is manageable.

According to him, the trend of cases requiring hospital surveillance in recent days is almost the same.

There's been a few days since we have the same number of cases that are about 80 patients who are propped up to hospitalized reports of those who are under oxygen therapy and those who are in need of this treatment are less than compared to other. We can say that we have no tendency for a few days to increase new cases that made us hope that even this wave of spread is in the final phase of our own”, he said.

Dressy claimed that 42 patients have Ocaigeniorapy, while adding that treating patients with Covid has not left patients suffering from other diseases without medical services.

“42 (patials) are in oxygen therapy and one with CPAP mask. We have a plan to manage this situation that envisions three phases and three stages, and we're able to get them to function 16 (three) that represents 40 percent of our capacities. The functioning of these beds for patients at COVID does not at any moment jeopardise our capacities in treating patients with other diseases”, he said.
