The Committee for Management and Prevention of the Spread of COVID-19 in Gjilan, under the leadership of Deputy Chairman Arber Ismajli, has held the meeting to assess the situation for the past two days.
Ismajli has announced that currently 101 citizens of Gjilan are being treated at the General Hospital, 76 of them with oxygen-rapies, until he stressed that 748 cases are active.
He has appealed all citizens to respect measures against the spread of COVID-19.
The overall mirror in Gjilan since the beginning of the pandemic is the following: out of 19109 samples, 5795 have proved positive, 5036 have recovered, 127 citizens have lost their battle with the virus, 633 cases are active, hospitalised with COVID are 82 people, 64 of whom with oxygen-rapy and 245 pending samples.
