The day with the most test done at the University Hospital Service in Kosovo was April 8th, a day after the introduction of tight anti-match measures. CO VID. 5502 citizens were tested. But from 12 April onward, the number of tests has dropped significantly, creating a perception that the number of new cases has decreased.
The number of tests conducted in the last eight days is 23 thousand and 156. This means that during this eight-day period, the average per day was 2894 tests.
Meanwhile, on the other twelve days of April, a total of 49 thousand and 567 tests were made. Or 4130 tests a day, Periscope reports.
There is no known reason why we have such a big reduction in tests for COVID-19.
What can be said is that new measures that entered into force from 7 April have managed to lower the number of tests.
