5 dead and 138 new cases with Ovid 19 in Albania

Meanwhile, 138 new cases of 2584 testing have been recorded.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appealed to all citizens not to let down their guard and to continue to enforce the rules to prevent COVID19: Place a protective mask on any outside of the home, avoid gatherings, keep your physical distance; take care of your own hygiene; and be self - conscious when you are suspected of being affected by COVID19.

COVID19's situation in the last 24 hours is the following: 2584 tests have been conducted, resulting in positive 138 citizens.

The confirmed positive cases have been identified in these municipalities: 35 cases in Tirana, 12 cases in Gjirokastra, 8 cases in Shkodra, five cases in Devoll, Skrapar, 4 cases in Durres, Fier, Elbasan, Pogradcec, Great Males, 3 cases in Korca, Leja, Vlora, Puka, Mirsday, Berat, Kamas, Saracre, Pedajan, 2 cases in Lush, Tropoj, Mallash, Dijá, Dija, Belskë, Capals, Komsil, Konquis, Korez, Crez, Polépell, Drollull, Drr.

In the last 24 hours, 465 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 103,066 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Currently in the COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals are treating 160 patients, 16 in intensive therapy, of which 4 patients are assembled.

Despite the efforts of the medical staff, 5 citizens have lost their battle with COVID19: 2 citizens from Shkodra, 1 citizen from Lezha, 1 townman from Vlora, 1 citizen from Elbasan, aged 56, 83. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses condolences to the bereaved.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection tells citizens not to neglect any signs of the disease and contact any doubt with the family doctor to conduct the test, as well as for tracking and treatment at the residence. Call 127 of the National Emergency for any emergency or hospital reference.
