On 22nd anniversary of the fall, Haradinaj recalls Gjakova's Martyrs

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has remembered Gjakova's martyrs today on the 22nd anniversary of the fall.

Through a post in his Facebook account, Haradinaj has said that on this date he remembers the family that had disappeared without any offspring.

With deep humility, we remember today, twenty-two years later, the martyrdom of our dozens of brothers and sisters in Gjakova. We remember the family that died childless, the family of Januz Cana, his wife Ganimetija, daughter Hope and son Fatmir”, wrote Haradinaj.

Terrible day, when I was caught in a fire!

With deep humility, we remember today, two decades later, the martyrdom of dozens of our brothers and sisters in Gjakova.

We remember the family that left no offspring, the family of Januz Cana, his wife Ganimetija, daughter Hope and son Fatmir.

We remember those who were sacrificed in the House of Weissa: Fetije Vejsa, Sahinder Hoxha, Flaka Hoxha (15 year old), Tringa Hoxha Vejsa with her children, Rita (2 years old), Arlindi (5), Marigona (9 years old) and Dorina (11 years old); Valbona Vejsa with the children, Doruntina (3 years old), Egzon (5 year) and Youth (7 year old); Valbona Byci-Caka with her three daughters, Diona (2 years old), Delvina (7 years) and Dalina (14 years old); Hysen Gashi, Mandushe Nuqi of Shirine Nuqi.

Remember The Martyrs of Liberty sacrificed in other parts Gjakova: Raj Gucci, Uncle Kurti, Shukri Hoxhaj, Mazlom Kavai, Sulejman Gerchar along with his three sons (Songer, Haxhiun and Alberti), two brothers Dulatah (Naser's Shakespeare), Melaym Charleskaxhi, Blerim Brdonaj, Bujar Tetrica, brothers Hasan and Adziva, the sons of Adam Berati and the wife of Hasan Myzafer Haxhia, Aferdita Dejammi with the son Silver.

I got blooded that day by fire. That fire became a symbol of the sacrifice for Kosovo freedom. Freedom we should cherish today because it came from the blood of the fallen.
