“208 thousand vaccines have just arrived at Rinasi Airport, part of the Albanian government's contract with the authorised distributor of the Coronavac vaccine, Sinovac. We have already completed the entire release of this contract, providing total for this 500 thousand dose of vaccines and, overall, today, from the first moment of the process of releasing vaccines contracted by the Albanian government, we have more than 700 thousand vaccines that have reached the territory of Albania”, Manastirliu said.
Manastirliu stressed that “is going at a very high rate of vaccination, and we are determined to continue with intensity everywhere in Albania, whether in the +60 age group or, above all, inoculation of chronic patients, but also with standing groups”.
The minister of Health suggested that more than 8 thousand more doses of the Pfizer contract will also come in the evening.
More vaccines are expected today from Pfizer's contract, there will be 8190 doses that arrive tonight, and we will follow just as we have said to intensify the vaccine process and have, according to our objective, 500,000 vaccines by May, and to vaccinate every Albanian citizen within the spring of next year”, Manarliu said.

Since the beginning of the vaccine, 333,330 doses of COVID19 vaccine have been conducted, of which 251,726 inoculations per person over 60 years of age.
