20 euros: IKSPK worker admits he took bribes to perform a test for COVID

He has pleaded guilty to the former employee of the Kosovo National Public Health Institute (IKSHPK), Betim Selimi, accused of taking bribes. After reading the indictment by prosecutor Merrishe Lluqi, accused Betim Selimi said he accepts guilt and feels repentant.
He said it is the first time that has come against the law and promised the court that he will no longer repeat other criminal acts.
Regarding the guilty's plea was agreed to by prosecutor Lluqi, who proposed to the court that I accept the guilty's guilty plea, to the conviction that it was done voluntarily, and to receive support in all evidence of the subject.
After that, case judge Alban Ajvazi asked the accused to know what his position was, since during his identification before the tribunal, the same stated that his position had been technical support staff, meanwhile, in the indictment reportedly his position had been a lab staff technician for COVID-19 tests.
The accused claimed his position had been a technical support staff, not a lab.
After that, prosecutor Merrishe Llugqi made precise the indictment in terms of the defendant's position, specifying it by the lab staff technician for COVID-19 tests, on support technical staff.
After specifying the indictment, the defendant's defender, lawyer Bekim Kelani, said he supports his defense's statement and that this plea has come after sufficient consultation with him.
He proposed to the court that, on the occasion of the height of the sentence, take into account the extenuating circumstances, so that his defense can pronounce fine sentences.
The court approved the guilty plea made by the accused and announced the parties that the plea will take place in the afternoon at 1500.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, on January 29, 2021, had filed charges against Betim Selimi, arguing that he had committed criminal work “taking bribes”.
According to the prosecution, Selimi, on December 30th 2020, at IKSHPK's offices, in the quality of the technical-laborant staff's test worker COVID-19, had requested and received 20 euros in bribery from damaged Adelaina Ahmeti, for conducting the test for COVIDO19, in an accelerated manner.
