COVID19's situation in the last 24 hours is the following: 1983 tests have been conducted, resulting in positive 125 citizens.
The confirmed positive cases have been identified in these municipalities:
27 cases in Tirana, 16 cases in Fier, 9 in Shkodra, 8 in Saranda, 7 in Elbasan, 6 in Durres, 5 in Lezha, out of 4 cases in Lushnje, Pogradcec, Grams, from 3 cases in Kavaja, Vlora, Mirdet, Berat, Delvina, Tepelene, from 2 cases in Kurbin, Küser, Kucove, Skrapar, Patos, Konispol, from 1 case in Kuke, Tropoja, Vau of Deje, Diber, Roskov.
In the last 24 hours, 546 citizens have been healed, bringing the number of cures to 98,269 since the beginning of the epidemic.
Currently in the COVID hospitals in Tirana and three regional hospitals are treating 204 patients, 12 in intensive therapy, of which 3 patients are involved.
Despite medical staff efforts, 4 citizens have lost their battle with COVID19: 1 citizen from Tirana, 1 citizen from Gjirokastra, 1 citizen from Fier, 1 citizen from the Great Mountain, aged 63, 82. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expresses condolences to the bereaved.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection tells citizens not to neglect any signs of the disease and contact any doubt with the family doctor to conduct the test, as well as for tracking and treatment at the residence. Call 127 of the National Emergency for any emergency or hospital reference.
