The Anti-Corruption Agency has announced that 12 Kosovo Government officials have not declared property.
In addition to government officials, property has declared no 13 Kosovo municipal officials. Those who have not declared their wealth may be punished for their inadequacy.
Based on the Law on Declaration, Coming and Checking the Riches of High Public Officials, officials who claim to declare property can be fined a thousand to 2,500 euros.

In addition to fine sentences, officials could be barred from exercising office until one year.
Otherwise, officials have had deadlines to declare the property by 31 March.
The process of declaring property has been realised through acceptance of property statements electronically.
From 4 grand to 892 senior public officials, 4 grand and 783 have made the statement.
“From the total of 4892 of senior public officials who have had the obligation to declare property, 4783 senior public officials have made property statements within the regular legal deadline, 56 senior public officials have declared property after the regular legal deadline, 28 of the officials have not declared their property with reason, or declared after deadlines, with pre-emptive reasons, while 25 of them have not declared their property so far, said the AKK 911 report.
The AKK has suggested that in addition to the regular annual declaration, it has accepted a considerable number of property declaration forms in case of taking office, as well as in the case of completing the official task.

“In addition to a regular annual declaration of property, with changes that took place in public institutions this year, the Anti-Corruption Agency has accepted a considerable number of property declaration forms in case of taking office, as well as in the case of completing office”, it is said further in announcing the AKK.
