Health Minister Armend Zemaj has spoken about the possibility of tightening anti-Convidian measures.
Zemaj has indicated that no new measures are expected this week, but that Thursday will become the re-evaluation of municipalities according to the release.
He has said that if there is a need on the basis of IKSHPK's recommendations, if the government requests austerity measures to reduce the infection will be considered.
“This week no, we have this release we have made in the 3 areas that we have defined, this week the number has increased in the red zone, we will see in this week whether, as we do this week's assessment, we will be out officially, if there is a need to invite the Committee and on the basis of IKSHPK recommendations, eventually if required by the government of Kosovo to tighten measures or take additional measures to reduce the infection.”, Zemaj said.
The Kosovo government has been warned of protests by different business categories in Kosovo in the event the measures are tightened.
