The austerity measures that can be taken in defence from Covis-19 from the next week from the new government are expected to be rejected by hotel and gastronomy businesses in the country.
Kosovo Hotel and Tourism House leaders even address with an open letter to young Prime Minister Albin Kurti, by whom they believe, and we hope that there will be co-operation and understanding for management of pandemic and the return of the normality of the situation.
Kosovo Hotel and Tourism House Chairman Hysen Sogojeva says in an interview for KosovoPress, not to be taken by the ad-hoc Kosovo government for new antiConvidial measures, because the hotel and Gastronomy sector is the most infirm and damaged by the pandemic.
Sogojevo is considering that hotels and gastronomia are not the hearth of pandemic.
We can all suffer, we can all win, and if we don't get to the worst, it's good that the government gets our recommendations. The first is to maintain normal business by respecting all forms to keep our health. But so far we are telling them with full responsibility that so far it has not been a hearth, nor is it a gastronomy hearth and pandemic hotel. We have x examples who argue that. I'm not an expert in this field of health, but it's not on the basis of the tests we've done like Ode. If it had been a hearth of the pandemic we would have arrived today 2 grand infected”, Sogojevo says.
The chairman of this office emphasises that state assistance so far in the pandemic has been a quitter, and therefore recommends the Kurti 2 Government to find solutions to get out of this crisis.
It is good for this government to first analyse the situation well, to consult together. Our recommendations take, even in addition to the measures that maybe it can take, ours is for this government to think about the Regeneration Law, that the tools that are meant for this sector are a quitter. Absolutely not a help. So we recommend that we be co-operative now, but by taking our recommendations that we get out of this” crisis as soon as possible, he points out.
Sogojevo says they do not rule out the possibility that we will oppose any tightening of measures by the new government, which leads to closure of the country, especially the hotel sector and gastronomy.
We don't rule out the possibility, we have the organs, but I think those who think it through a dictatorship, those who are responsible for this law, I don't think it's going to come up to what tomorrow with reasonable reactions. We are saying that we are co-operating that not to the reactions that if ad-hoc decisions come and are not pleasing, it is normal that tomorrow the day after tomorrow through organs we make decisions and that no kind of democratic, even stronger form is excluded. Not that we will oppose, but we are not willing to come to opposition. Not to come to my first conflict in cooperation. Come and take our recommendations, take your recommendations, which is best for saving your health and saving your business, then prove it”, he says.
He has demanded that both the House of Hotelirs and Tourism have a representative of this community on the pandemic management committee.
The letter to the prime minister is also said to have witnessed that the hearth of the infection was itself public institutions, and political parties where there were no measures for their own interests that prevented them, and that requires understanding and consideration for each category and layer of this country.
