Vetevendosje Movement member Sami Kurteshi has spoken about the possibility of returning Vjosa Osmani to the Democratic League of Kosovo. Kurteshi has stated that Osman is instinctly linked to the LDK, since her political education has been such.
Kurteshi has been asked whether the Vetevendosje Movement will provide Osmani's support for president, if it will return to the Democratic League of Kosovo.
There are different steps you're referring to. The hypothetosis is disabled. Lady Osman is officially part of the Vetevendosje Movement. We acknowledge that it is also the attached Vjosa List and has its own candidates, but legally it is part of the Vetevendosje List. This is a democratic country, people have the right to choose”, Kurteshi has declared.
The former ombudsman has declared that Vjosa Osmani is instinctly linked to the LDK, since, according to him, her political education has been such.
Mrs. Osmani and her candidates have not come by by force. Actually, she has not been given a choice, because her politically driven path has been LDK. I think instinctly, she's still part of LDK, instinctically, because her political education has been that way. We had already seen him, but she was watching him. She knows and we know it is. She has not been left on the LDK other than what she has undertaken”, Kurteshi has declared.
Kurteshi has declared that he sees no reason that in the near future, Osman is joining the LDK, as roads are closed.
I see no reason to have such moves by Mrs. Osmani herself in a very near future because they have closed roads. I don't believe that she has expressed extremely great desire to join the Vetevendosje Movement, but all actions now of a year have proved that her only course has been to join LVVA. So I don't see any reason for moving into the near future. After all, she has her own political beliefs, and I think the right thing in a democratic country is for people to act based on their own political beliefs”, Kurteshi stated in “Dirt”.
Otherwise, Vjosa Osmani in the February 14th elections has received 300 thousand and 756 votes. She was on her initiative part of the Vetevendosje Movement list.
Vjosa Osmani is also LVVA's candidate to assume the post of president, this position in which Osmani is currently a task leader.
