Vuciq: Serbia ready for compromise with Kosovo

In a conversation with the chief of the United Nations Organisation's Office in Belgrade, Marie Yamas today, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said Serbia is ready for dialogue and compromise in resolving regional issues, including dialogue with Kosovo.

Vuciq said Serbia is committed to peace and stability in the region.

The “The work of her office is very important, given that it is a link to the UN Mission in Kosovo and Metohija”, Vuciq said.

He stressed that Serbia costs great importance to UNMIK's work.

“Based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999 is the guarantor of the status of neutrality of the international presence in Kosovo and Metohija”, Vuciq said.
