The EU's special envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has talked about the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
He has said the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo depends on all member states of the European Union.
“needs to be worked to convince those states that oppose visa liberalisation for Kosovo. I am for visa liberalisation, but the European Union is a family of 27 states and regardless of the size of a state, each one's voice is considered”, Lajcak said at KTV, the Periscope broadcast.
He has said that more than lobby, Kosovo must work harder to ensure states that oppose liberalisation.
“I know that Kosovo has met the goals offered by the European Parliament, but you need to know that visa liberalisation is voted by the European Council and I know it is complicated, but there must be consensus on decision”, Lajcak has said.
He has not provided an exact date for visa liberalisation, but has said the government should work harder in this direction. /Periscopi
