The vaccines were provided by the Health Ministry through the COVAX mechanism.
“Vaxes provided through the COVAX mechanism have been approved by the World Health Organization (OBSH), as the United Nations system's leading organisation (OKB) dealing with the issue of vaccine safety”, the ministry's statement said.
Since the beginning of the vaccine process, 44,000 doses of anti-coronvirus vaccines have arrived in Montenegro, out of which 30,000 doses of the Chinese vaccine Sinopharm and 14,000 doses of Russian vaccine Sputnik.
