Since March of last year, Kosovo has been in the many countries of the world facing the situation created as a result of infection by the period-2 virus.
The spread of this virus caused large numbers of victims, and it also caused major damage to health and economy in the country.
The impasse that took place worldwide did not leave the state of Kosovo intact.
But even though many of the other countries, like the region, over recent months, were able to vaccinate most of their citizens with vaccines of different anti-types. - CO VID, in Kosovo still has been achieved to vaccinate no citizens.
Some of the doctors even managed to obtain the first doses of vaccine in Albania during the past week, exactly in Kukes.
Regarding the situation created by the lack of an anti vaccine - CO VID, news.net has contacted the Ministry of Health.
From this, the minister is stressed that they continue to be awaiting COVAX confirmation of the date when the first container of these vaccines will be accommodated.
The Health Ministry is awaiting COVAX confirmation of the date when they will accommodate the first contingent of vaccines”, the MSH's response to news.net said.
It was also stressed that the commitment is also in other sources of providing this vaccine.
Former Health Minister Andmend Zemaj has declared anti-Venction vaccines - CO VID will arrive in Kosovo in February, but that was not accomplished.
Zemaj statements regarding the anti vaccine - CO VID was seen as inaccurate and depressing on the part of citizens.
During the past week, Zemaj even made a statement about the supply of anti vaccine. - CO VID from COVAX.
Zemaj said 33 thousand and 600 doses of COVAX vaccine will come to Kosovo during March.
“During March come 33 thousand and 600 doses of COVAX vaccines”, Zemaj said.
Despite these successive Zemaj statements, secure anti vaccine doses CO VID is still controversial in the country.
The question of lack of vaccine was even discussed under the European Parliament today. European Parliament rapporteur Violet von Cremon-Taubadel has called on the European Union to supply Kosovo with anti-vaccinations COVID-19 as soon as possible.
“A very current problem is also the lack of vaccine supply in Kosovo. Production capacity here in the European Union is currently increasing and this should send to a much better supply for Kosovo as soon as possible. The EU must support rapid vaculation of health personnel and other most endangered groups by COVID-19”, she said.
In recent 24 hours, 836 new cases of Coronavirus infected have been confirmed in the country, thus bringing the number of active cases to 12,934.
A total of 1,813 have been lost as a result of this virus, while there is not a single bed for patients who seek treatment as a result of infection.
The situation is similar in almost all other clinics dealing with people affected with the COVIDD-19 virus.
