Today there will be no transportation of travellers to Kosovo

Starting today, there will be no public transportation in urban-periferal and urban traffic across the country due to the failure to meet the agreement between the Road Transport Association of Travelers and the Ministry of Infrastructure for the sub-veniment of transport operators. The chairman of this association, Ruzhdi Kurtisaj, indicated that on Wednesday morning the decision of the Travelers' Road Transport Council to go on strike, respectively, will be implemented because it does not meet the stand-by agreement or subsidise the transportation of bus travellers.

According to him, the government in office has had enough time to realise the demands of public carriers, and for that, as he emphasises so far, it has not reflected. As he adds that there is no doubt that the protest will be held today.

Kurtisha stressed that this sector has had the biggest economic losses due to Government decisions to prevent the spread of the Devov-19 virus.

He also stresses that the protest will start at bus stations until the government's promised demands are met.

This association expects all public transport operators today to take part in the protest.
