Train hit car, Ferizaj municipality seeks responsibility from railway authorities

Ferizaj's municipality, after the train accident with the railway car in this town, has sought responsibility and fulfillment of demands by railway authorities.

Through a response to '{0}' Facebook, this municipality says Ferizaj's leader, Agim Aliu, had earlier asked railway authorities to place washing on the railway line crossing Ferizaj, but that his demands have been encountered in deaf ears.

The Ferizaj municipality informs citizens that over time and with repeated requests, the Mayor of the municipality, Agim Aliu, has been addressed to railway authorities to deploy the washing along the railway line that runs Ferizaj, on the basis of its competence and responsibility, but such a thing, although with the continued insistence of the Ferizaj municipality, has not been realised by the railway authority”, the report said.

It is time for the responsible railway authorities to take action that belongs to the legislation in force and prevent possible accidents. Citizens deserve to know the truth, our repeated request to the responsibilities, while eager to politicise this issue does not serve the truth and the interest of citizens”, is added further.

Otherwise, an accident has occurred between a car and a train on the railway road in Ferizaj on Friday evening. The police have yet to give any details about the case.
