The state news agency PAP reported that the bus had 57 people and had fallen into a ditch during the night, Reuters reports.
The wounded were sent to local hospitals, while local service spokesman confirmed that the bus was traveling to Ukraine.
The passengers were sleeping when the accident occurred, most were not connected to seat belts, so they were seriously injured. They were mostly young people returning home, the spokesman said, adding that there were no children on board.
He said the bus had hit a traffic barrier and ended up in a ditch.
