A child with Down syndrome has fired a ball in the court of the Government of Kosovo, thus symbolising the request that the executive support these children for therapeutic services. But police officials there responded immediately.
The latter forced the organisers to pull the ball from the government yard.
The event was organised by the Down Syndrome Kosovo Association on the case of the Down International Day syndrome under the slogan “A is hiding from”.
Meanwhile, it was warned that from now until the end of the year, each month, on the 21st, a child will throw a ball at the Government, which they think should take the ball and score, offering these services necessary to these children.
The leader of the programme for services at the Down Syndrome Kosova, Ermira Shaban, has been launching senbilisation with a concrete request.
“We have highlighted mainly therapeutic services which are necessary and necessary for the development of children with lower syndrome, so we seek the support of local institutions to provide theserapeutic services“, she said.
Albion Zeka, of this association, said that throughout the year they will explain the need for such services.
We hope that this year the state will take responsibility for these services. We will continue as we have announced every 21th of the month, by the end of the year, a child will come to throw a ball, symbolizing the requirement for Government to pick up the ball and score, offering these necessary services“, he said.
The Down Syndrome Kosovo Association has decided this year to be the Down syndrome, and for that purpose throughout the year, a broad campaign will take place, which has been titled “Topi is at State”.
