British police have blocked the introduction of a school in West Yorkshire, England, as dozens of angry Muslim parents protested a teacher who allegedly displayed the Prophet Muhammad's caricature during the classes of religious education.

The school “Batley” was forced to postpone opening and to urge students to stay home because of the chaotic scene at its entrance. The school principal said he sincerely apologises for this great insult to the community.

The students ' parents gathered at the school entrance Thursday morning, while they remained there until afternoon. Police closed the road in both directions, writes the Daily Mail.

Muslim religious preacher Amin Pandor said before parents that the teacher was suspended from work. This was later confirmed by the schools, as police began threatening protesters with fines against the spread of the coronary because of the rally.
