spokesman The PDK, Avni Bytyci, says Kosovo's prime minister is the last to have to be vaccinated.
He writes:
In many parts of the world, political leaders have taken the first vaccine to witness to society that anti-David vaccine is not dangerous, setting an example for the citizens of that country.
The Kosovo case is the opposite. The prime minister today should not be the first but the last to be vaccinated. The first one, Albin's crossed Covid once. Second, there are some more endangered categories, such as doctors, nurses, policemen, and other categories, including many advanced and sick citizens.
With such limited number of doses, Albin Kurti would have to await his order according to a proper classification on the basis of needs rather than run to get it first. First, let him do his job as prime minister and let him provide the other doses. These vaccines are alms to the most endangered category, not to politicians, who also have the best conditions and services.
If you don't find these arguments enough, look at German Chancellor Angela Merkel awaiting her order, even though the vaccine has been discovered by two German scientists!
