Snow returns to Kosovo tonight

Heavy snowfalls are approaching our region, especially the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and some parts of northern Macedonia and Albania (mostly hill-mountain).

The most powerful snowfalls are expected in northern Montenegro.

Snowfalls have already started in several condinor-mounting areas of Kosovo and northern Macedonia, while in other areas we have clouds, countries associated with rain rigs. Today local rainfall is expected with intervals of rain and snow depending on the region and overland altitude, while tomorrow (July) snowfall will include the absolute majority of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

During the night, rainfall and rain will begin to turn into snowfall in many parts of Kosovo, giving us beautiful views seen only during the winter season.

The powerful cycle in the moisture-rich Mediterranean will also attract the cold polar air from the north of the continent, and this is a perfect combination for snowfall in Kosovo. Sometimes and countries expect intense and highly aesthetic snowfall. There will be more rain in some lowlands (mainly towards Dukajni), but there will also be lower snowfalls. Places are also expected to form snow layers.
