The “is a Serbian programme, modernised for today's Balkans”, he has said.
Sererer says he is concerned by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's ambitions to take control of Serbs in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
These comments have been made by the American expert for the Balkans in an interview for the Voice of America, the Serbian language edition, where it has commented on the outcome of the elections in Niksic in Montenegro, after which local power will be in the hands of pro-Serbian political forces, broadcaster Telegrafi.
Serer sees the problem in failing to develop a strong pro-European opposition that supports Montenegro's independence.
Anyway, I wouldn't panic much about it. I am very concerned about the role of Serbia and Russia, and especially the ambition of President Vuciq to take control of Serbs in Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Vuciq is trying to build a de facto Greater Serbia, which Miloseviq and Dobrica Cosic loved. It is a Serbian programme, modernised for today's Balkans”, Serer points out.
Cerwer further finds the influence of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro still visible
