Serbian authorities: Thousands of Kosovo citizens are applying to vaccinate us

Nearly 1,700 citizens applied for anti-commercial vaculation in the majority Serb communities in Kosovo and Metohija last week, which is almost three times higher than that one week ago, the so-called Kosovo office in Serbia government announced today. “Since the epidemiological situation with the virus [...]

“Since the epidemiological situation with the corona virus is also complicated in Serb communities in the province, the fact that a large number of citizens applied for immunization in recent weeks is particularly encouraging”, the office said.

Serbs from Kosovo will be vaccinated on Tuesday and Wednesday at three separate points in Rasko, Kursumlija and Bujanovac.

This office says 1,400 citizens will receive the second dose of vaccine this Wednesday and Thursday. They remembered that for those who want to be vaccinated, transportation is free, while stressing that Serbia's “government has provided an adequate amount of vaccines for all”.

So far, according to this office, more than 10,500 citizens from Serb communities in Kosovo and Metohija have been vaccinated, and about 8,000 of them have been re-examinationd.
