Serbia knows it cannot undo and intimidate Kosovo, this guarantees the US

Serbia seems to enjoy the illusion that Kosovo is still the Serbian province, despite the fact that Kosovo's independence is a steadfast reality”. So begins American professor Alon Ben-Meir's writing, which further says Serbia knows that independence for Kosovo and the state of Kosovo will never be undone but [...]

The right time for Serbia to comply with its past and incompatible atrocities against Kosovo Albanians can now be. The sooner Belgrade agrees with its past, the sooner it can start itself-moral rescue without which it will continue to cuff without any visible recovery. Serbian leaders should ask themselves the simple question: under what circumstances will Kosovo's independence be overthrown? They know the answer, but have no moral courage to admit that it is beyond their ability to undo Kosovo's independence, now or never. That's why?

Ben-Meir lists four key reasons why Serbia cannot undo Kosovo's independence.

“First, Kosovo's independence came through the flow of Albanian blood that spilled it into a war they had not chosen. The blood of innocent men, women and children continues to tarnish and visit Serbia as long as it refuses to accept the horror it caused Kosovars. Serbia's wild act provides a constant reminder to every citizen of Kosovo that their independence is more than political it is personal; they cannot forgive or forget if Serbia does not repent”, says Ben-Meir.
