Rifat Jashar: If necessary, we are ready with these men what we have to respond to Serbia

I'm not gonna tell you, they're gonna stand up for me. It wasn't easy. The blessing has lost sister, brother, mother, father, 11 members. Luli, father with two brothers. My wife and four children, my father, my mother, has not been easy to say to his family.

A documentary on public television, Rifat Jashari said his family were prepared to confront Serb forces.

But, we were willing, we were prepared that one day something had to happen. We didn't know this was gonna happen that this is happening here and throughout Kosovo, but we have the day that something would happen”, he said.

However, despite the loss of family members, he proudly says the Jashar family is still willing to respond to Serbia in the same way.

And we've been found ready. And yet we're ready if you need it, I'll never live, but we're still with the quiet men I've got to answer to [Serbia] in every respect”, Jashar said.
