The Kosovo Medical Oda (OMK) has shared gratitude for retired doctors and for the health institutions of the Mitrovica region, which have contributed to the fight against Covid-19.
Streats Sejdiu, chairman of the OPC, has indicated that last year has been difficult for all, but in particular for health workers.
According to him, the doctor's greatest credit is when he completes his career and retires, while institutions should prove that their contribution remains memorable.
While Dr. Ghani Shaban, a retired neuropsychiatricist, said retirement is not such a good feeling, but is extremely proud to recall the past contribution given, during the 80s, then 90s, especially the period of war.
He added it is a pleasure when responsible institutions, the OPC, respectively, care about their retired colleagues.
“It is a pleasure when mechanisms -- primarily the Oda of Kosovo Doctors -- are interested in pensioners who have contributed even though all contributed”, Saban stressed.
