According to the announcement, this meeting was held after recent reports of cyberattacks, where, after discussions, it was assessed that despite the challenges in this area, Kosovo has developed professional capacities for preventing these attacks.
“assured the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that there is no reason for concern, since all institutional mechanisms are dealing with any threats. I assure you that the state systems with citizen data and institutions are safe”, National Co-ordinator for Cyber Security Zafir Berisha stressed.
During yesterday, it was reported that in two institutions, Telekom and the Finance Ministry had cyber attacks.
