Report 24 hours: 836 new cases and 10 deaths

This report comes after increasing concerns about austerity measures by the Kurti II Government that would hurt the country's economy even more.

836 people have been infected with Avid 19 out of only 4133 samples taken by the SSKUK, writes Periscopi.

In the last 24 hours, 10 people died.

In the last 24 hours, in the lab of molecular microbiology at IKKPK and private labs with RT- PCR, as well as private and public labs with the RRA method, have tested a total of 4,1133 samples obtained from the SSKUK and the investigation into field contact, out of which 836 positive cases result.

Ten cases of SARS deaths reported within 24 hours CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from municipalities: Three cases (71, 72, 73), Decan 1 case (45), Ferizaj 1 case (70), Fushe-Kosovo 1 case (85), Kacanic 1 case (90), Pristina 1 case (84), Prizren 1 case (67) and 1 case (79).

The total number of positive cases is 85,334 cases of 401,480 suspicious persons in the SARS-CV-2 virus and 1,813 cases of death.

During the last 24 hours, 700 patients have been cured until the total number of cures to date is 70,587, while the number of active cases is 12,934.

The positive cases are from the municipalities: Pristina 279 cases, Gjilan 74 cases, Gjakova 60 cases, Podujevo 54 cases, Ferizaj 49 cases, Fushe-Kosovo 42 cases, Mitrovica 38 cases, Vushtrri 37 cases, Peja 34 cases, Kamenica 32 cases, Lipjan 30 cases, Cline 16 cases, Obiliq 14 cases, Year 13 cases, Decan 9 cases, Istog 9 cases, Kacanic 7 cases, Malishev 7 cases, Rahovec 7 cases, Drenas 5 cases, Prizren 4 cases, Incan 4 cases, Skakica, 3 cases, Skrecareca, 3 cases, 3 cases, and 3koll from Dragkoll and Rankoll.

Dear citizens!

In view of the dynamic and real-time assessment of the epidemiological situation with COVID - 19, today 836 positive cases have been reported, presenting the largest number of positive cases this year with a tendency to increase the following few days. Only in Pristina were 279 positive cases reported. We express comfort to family members for the 10 reported deaths over the last 24 hours.

The number of positive cases and deaths by COVID-19 continues to be high and concerned as a direct result of neglect of the measures.

Doctors overloaded in hospitals are struggling against this subtle, destructive virus with all their professional and human power.

IK The KPS reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prevention measures are the same as a particular axient that positive people should stay at home to prevent family and community spread. With the reduction in contacts, we'll make it possible to disrupt the spread of infection.

So we recommend again:

1. Stay at home, and exit is just necessary;
2. The rigorous ban on dating people you don't live with in communities, except for specific purposes;
3. Rigorous stop of gatherings;
4. rigorous respect of restrictive measures in public activities;
5. Restricting work on non-secial activities and events while reducing work time during the day.

IK The KPS estimates that these measures could cut the increase in number of cases, prevent the overload of hospitalizations and prevent the death toll from increasing.

IK The KPS appeals to all citizens, institutions, and public and private organisations, to the respect and undertaking of all necessary measures for prevention, management and control of COVID-19, taking into account the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and decisions in force on the measures and obligations of institutions to implement general and specific measures for protection from the CORVID-19 pandemic.

In particular, we call for implementation of recommendations and respect of restrictive measures for public activities, respectively, restrictions on the collection of citizens and public gatherings.

Collecting citizens without masks and keeping distance increases the risk of spreading infection while the SARS-COV-2 virus is present among us.

We appeal to the responsible institutions, Kosovo Police and the responsible inspectors respectively, to carefully monitor and take all necessary actions to implement measures and other decisions in force in the implementation of the Law on Prevention and Combating COVID-19 in the Republic of Kosovo.
