According to Rama points first with Macro, they have discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.

While the two points said have been for the performance of the French Development Agency programme, which is committed to financing three important projects. The most important project is investment for finalisation in the Durres city pipeline and to ensure Durres, 24 hours of water without interruption, a commitment I asked him to make, and the president took it after the earthquake.

Rama has further stressed that, too, another significant financing for the electromagnetic system, as well as another programme for women and girls, which is a very interesting programme that we will implement together with the French Development Agency.

At the same time, the prime minister adds, they have talked about France's energy investments in Albania, where the Voltalia company is investing in the region's largest photovoltaic Park, in Karavasta, as well as 1 or 2 other important projects.

Prime Minister Edi Rama's communication after meeting today with French President Macron:

It was an invitation for the president we had not met in a while. He wanted to spend a working lunch with me to discuss the bilateral relations, the performance of the French Development Agency programme, which has been committed to financing three important projects, where the most important project is investment in finalising all the work that needs to be done to complete the overall investments made in the Durres City water supply and ultimately guarantee Durres, 24 hours of water without interruption, a commitment I requested from the president after the earthquake.

Also, another important financing for the electromagnetic system, as well as another program for women and girls, which is a very interesting program that we will implement along with the French Development Agency. We also talked about France's energy investments in Albania, where the Voltalia company is investing in the region's largest photovoltaic Park, in Karavasta, as well as 1 or 2 other important projects.

We have talked about the European Investment Plan for the Balkans that is already a funded plan and where we are actively committed to receiving funding for some important projects with national and regional impacts on transport, infrastructure and digitalisation.

Of course, we have remained wide in the situation in the region, in the performance of relations between countries of the region for the process of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, for the process of implementing four EU freedoms under the Regional Schengen and other topics, which have the lead and their part of the long conversation.

Are you going to be a mediator between Kosovo and Serbia to approach their positions?

I am not the right man to intercede between Kosovo and Serbia, because I am a party and as a party, I necessarily defend the interests of Albania and Kosovo together. This is a process where it is up to leaders in Kosovo to advance dialogue, as they think reasonable. Of course, with all my support and government, today and tomorrow, in Tirana, of course at certain moments we can have different approaches to how to get to the goal, but the goal is absolutely the same and I'm a party.

Did you get signals on the integration process?

- It's an ongoing process. I said it and I repeat that there is no secret. It's the biggest public secret, if we can say, that we've done our tasks and everything will depend on the situation within the European Council and on dynamics within EU countries. So that's a known thing and there's a need to last on it. /Tch
