QUINT ambassador states The US, Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy) through a joint statement have asked the political parties represented in the Assembly to play a responsible role after the February 14th result.
QU The INT has also called for political activists in Kosovo to ensure stability in institutions including the presidency.
The “Ambassadors of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America congratulate the new government and the Assembly and encourage all political parties to play a responsible role in recognising the results of the February 14th elections as a mandate given by the people for effective government. At this time of pandemic and economic challenges, Kosovo needs determined leadership and functional governing institutions providing stability, including the presidency. Education of these challenges will require that leaders of political parties and elected deputies now put the needs of Kosovo's citizens on political party issues and that the opposition and the government work for common priorities, and the first task is to elect the new president”, the joint statement said.
