Turkish activists and Arab students participated in the protest, organised by the Humanitarian Assistance Organisation (IHH) and the Memur-Sen Union.
“We believe that Kosovo's decision to open an embassy in Jerusalem will remain as a black spot in history”, Zahid Sengul said a key figure of Memur-Sen, in a press release.
They have also asked Kosovo leaders to withdraw the decision, AA reports.
The same way we protected Kosovo that cost us life during the war for independence, we will stand for the state of Palestine, which is becoming sick of the invasion of Israel”, is said in the statement.
A Jordanian student, Jilan Abu al-Rub, who participated in the protest, said she strongly condemns this Kosovo movement.
Kosovo has opened its embassy on 14 March this year in Jerusalem.
