“The Democratic Party as no other party considers that the internal debate is very open and is completely normal, different thoughts, different criticisms in relation to the processes that have occurred and continue to occur within the political scene”.
The “therefore is something that is quite normal when multi-year-old activists and fellow workers of this party, but the governing structure also differs in terms of specific events developing within the party”, Shala said.
Deputy Shala said PDK is part of the country's process of change and reform.
However, according to him, stagnation in this party is causing the absence of chairman Kadri Veselin, who is being tried in The Hague under suspicion of war crimes.
“The PDK has been part of the change processes for years, so since it was Chairman Wessel, directly as it came to the helm of the party has begun a process of internal reform, reform not only cadrovik, but also political party process and is an integral part of moving in the best direction in terms of time, so the PDK is in the process of reforming”.

While the party's member, Lirak Celiaj, in an interview for EO, has said he is not the only one seeking the resignation of Headship and the Steering Council following the results in the February 14th elections.
