The Pope said Sunday that <x0 people have limited access to water, which happens to be contaminated”. He encouraged all to consider the value of this wonderful and irreplaceable gift of God”.
“It is necessary to provide drinking water and hygienic services for all people”, Pope Francis said.
The World Health Organization says that about 2 billion people worldwide use contaminated drinking water sources.
The United Nations in a report last year estimated that 43% of schools worldwide do not have access to water and handwashing soap.
