US State Department representative for Western Balkans Matthew Palmer, in an interview for Serbian television N1, has also talked about the issue of placing embassies in Jerusalem.
Palmer, when asked about Serbia, has said it belongs to official Belgrade to determine where the embassy wants its location.
However, it has been said that for the United States, the question of placing the Embassy in Jerusalem is a closed issue.
The “first of all is Serbia's decision, where it wants the Embassy to be deployed. Ours is in Jerusalem, and there will be”, Palmer said.
The question of placing the Embassy in Jerusalem has been and continues to remain a topic in Kosovo, since VV head Albin Kurti, after a meeting he had with Turkey's ambassador to Pristina, has warned that he will consider Hoti's decision to place the Embassy in Jerusalem.
One such thing by Israeli media is seen as an attitude driven by Turkey's pressure and Erdogan's letter to Albin Kurti.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has invited Albin Kurti to attend the day the Kosovo Embassy is being inaugurated in Jerusalem.
Critical of this Kurt stand around the embassy's location was former Trump's sister Richard Green.
Green said that Albin Kurti was constantly against each American administration, starting with Bill Clinton and ending up at Trump.
Former US ambassador to Germany has said Albin Kurti will also be against the new US president, Joe Biden.
