Former Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli says Kosovo lost a good opportunity for lobby in the match that will take place against Spain. He says he has an idea for creative diplomacy that would include him, Veton Surroi, Albin Kurtin, Granit Jaka and Gerdan Shaqiri.

Spain does not recognise the Republic of Kosovo, while Pacolli says the match has been a good opportunity for overhauling the reports.

This rare idea, Pacolli explained it in a long Facebook writing.

This is his complete writing:

Loss of diplomatic sports case with Spain

Or an idea for creative diplomacy that would see me, Veton Surro, Albin Kurtin, Granit Jaka and Gerdan Shaqiri, lobling for Kosovo in Madrid

From Pacolli Behgjet

Kosovo faces Spain in football, but in our countries this event was not seen not just as football, but simultaneously as diplomatic or political events. If well managed, it could mark a minimal progress in the ratio among states, such as recognition of travel documents, or visa on Kosovo's passport. It served as a minimum investment for the recognition of the following, or for the Spanish stance within the EU.

Someone might say why I, as the former chief of diplomacy, as former president, didn't do anything like that.

I'm sorry, but I don't have the energy to endure campaign attacks for good deeds I've done often, but they've been badly interpreted in my country.

I have often been warned that I have cooled or heated up the donkey when I gave the donkey hot water or cold water.

I can't do something that someone from the new Kosovo government never asked me to handle with respect my constructive works, starting with the pro vote in the first government, Kurti. And in a recurring situation, I could just write down what I would do if I were them. Reminding my people how we missed a great opportunity like this.

Topics - Why We Lost a Golden Case

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's left government leads in Spain. His SPOE party is a member of the Spanish Socialist International, which includes the Vetevendosje of Mr. Kurti. Why he has not written something to commemorate Sanchez, that Kosovo is not Catalonia; that equaling Kosovo with Catalonia is like equaling Serbia and Spain, which is not true because Spain has not exercised genocide against Catalonia, its most prosperous region. It could write public or closed paper. Mr. Kurti could ask for the help of former Italian Prime Minister Massimo Déema, who worked with Mr. Sanchez and are good friends, from co-operation in European leftist organisations. Other gentlemen, who know Spain, Kurt or anyone else, could seek the help of Javier Solana, the mythical figure of the Spanish left, to lobby for a minimal breakthrough in relations between the two states.

Football is a popular sport that unblocks relations between states. Sports success opens the doors to diplomacy. The late Fadil Vokrri achieved Kosovo's introduction to FIFA and UEFA. In his name, with his lobby.

Same and in the Judo sport, Majlinda Kelmendi, and her coach, Driton Kuka, forced Russia to salute the flag, our anthem.

Even then, we lost our chance to lobe near Russia. Likewise, we could organize some of our biggest football players, Gerdan Shaqiri, Granit Jaka, or anyone else to ask for the Spanish Federation, the Spanish state, to treat our representative with respect. More creative, public, or not. Where is my friend Veton Surroi, an excellent speaker of Spanish, who has often spoken of the respect you enjoy in the Spanish world? Something could move him too. I would be willing to join him, with our leading footballers, Albin Kurti, to be organized into a political sports delegation. To meet with Florentino Peres, a story of global builders like me, and ask for help. Meet Javier Solana, the Spanish Football Federation, so that we could do something. We didn't do anything. We didn't try anything. We didn't get anything.
