Thank you from the heart for your faith, responsibility, and honor.
Today I am taking the weightiest and most honorable task of my life; the leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo; the political house of the founders of our state. I'm taking this task with full knowledge of future challenges, but with strong conviction about the path ahead.
Today we held a democratic election process. We traded high political culture and set a new standard on the Kosovo stage. So the most deserving are the delegates to the LDK Parliament; our membership, above all my friends, today's counterCandids and my permanent associates: Lute, Bessian, Anton, it was a pleasure. Today, on behalf of the LDK, I also thank former President Mustafa for leading our political home for the past 10 years.
LDK ideas stay time. They are the foundations not only of our party organisation, but are the founding pillars of the state of Kosovo. They're ideas initiated by President Ibrahim Rugova, they're ideas cultivated by the two frontrunners. They'll be my ideas of anyone with whom we'll make this trip together.
