The General Hospital Union in Prizren reports that on the evening of March 14th, at around 22.00 a.m., at the workplace while offering patient health services has been attacked by N.S. Radiology Department nurse.
According to the FSSHK, the nurse in question has a 30-year experience and is known for his seriousness towards the profession, correctness and good behavior. Until the attack, it has come just as the nurse has asked for basic information in instruction (name and surname) that the request for the patient's parent has been rejected and physically assaulted by causing injuries in one eye to the N.S. nurse.
“health workers in general are now busy and tired of working over and over again at this time of Pandemie, where hundreds of hospital and extraspitable services are provided within the day so such behavior only exacerbates the” situation, it is said in response.
The Federation of Kosovo Health Unions strongly condemns the violence exercised against health workers, and calls on the highest state institutions to handle the case in question, given that such shameful cases have become frequent, which are seriously insulting the identity and image of health workers in the country.
