Due to the David 19 pandemic, U n NICEF thinks about ten million marriages with minors can be linked worldwide. In U analysis NICEF is said to jeopardise the advances achieved for years in fighting this practice. Risk factors for girls are the closure of schools or the death of parents because of Covid-19.
Over the past ten years, the percentage of married minors worldwide had dropped by 15 percent - some 25 million marriages that had been prevented.
